Printmaking

Printmaking is a fun process. I love coming up with the design carving it up in plex. glass, copper plates or wood slates and making tons of my creations. My teacher really supported me with my expressionistic style... What I did- was a method called Blind Contour- where you don't look at your hands while you draw on some of them. It was the best. I would really like to pursue printmaking further later on in life.
I made this after I heard about some political stuff. I just felt America was being exposed

I printed this for my husband- He loves the human body and anatomy

Self portrait of me when I was 19 years old.

I made this as the girl with the perl earring. I did a blind contour of that painting

I made this with a friend. Mine is the bottom. Her name is Carrie Sorenson

Computers and Art

Here is my final book cover

I can't load up my sketches, however my process on top was a blind contour. My teacher told me that my energy was neat. He made me do the project over a few times... At the time I was annoyed, however, I am glade he did because I like the outcome.

This is one of the rough raft that I did.

I could not upload my last project. However it was a magazine cover. I did it on food- brownies
